Roots of Hope

Born in India, my journey began with almost nothing. My father, driven by hope, moved our family of five to Nepal with less than a dollar in his pocket. Growing up on the streets shaped me—it gave me resilience and a drive to rewrite my story. I worked my way to the U.S., earning degrees from UCLA and London Business Shcool. But the corporate life I saw there wasn’t my path. Returning to India, I set out to build something that mattered, something that would make all those early struggles worth it.

One Moment, I Was the Hero; the Next, Under Fire

Creating something meaningful required far more than I’d ever anticipated—more time, more resources, and, above all, more of me. Our pivot from SaaS to embedded lending eventually led to acquisition, but the real turning point was within. Through intense self-work, I realized my role was to cultivate clarity, make bold choices, and communicate progress transparently. Showing up at my best every day wasn’t optional—it was essential.

Core Lesson: The journey begins with you. As a leader, building clarity and resilience starts by investing in your own growth—only then can you lead others with purpose and strength.

I’ve faced it all—a heart attack, a battle with depression, and a slipped disc—each moment making me question if I or my company would survive. If you’d seen my mind back then, it was clouded with shadows and doubt. But through what I now call spiritual biohacking—intentional inner work rooted in ancient practices—I rewired my mental state. This transformation reshaped my reality, making inner work non-negotiable. Today, my outlook isn’t just optimism; it’s resilience built by design, result of daily inner work.
